Sylvia Chi is an attorney based in Oakland. She is the Legislative Director for the California Public Banking Alliance and was a principal co-author of AB 857 (2019). Sylvia is the Senior Policy Analyst at Just Solution. She serves on the San Francisco Reinvestment Working Group and is a member of the San Francisco Public Bank Coalition (SFPBC). She previously served as Policy Director for Asian Pacific Environmental Network. Sylvia earned her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law and A.B. from Dartmouth College.
