Steven Sittig is a co-founder and facilitator of Public Bank Pomona Valley Study Group. He serves as the Pomona Valley Regional Director for the California Public Banking Allliance. An educator (retired) at the secondary and community college levels in the sciences and philosophy, he continues as Director of the Observatory at the Webb Schools in Claremont, CA.  He has done extensive volunteer work at the City of Hope, the American Red Cross, the National Ski Patrol, and Learning Ally (formerly Recording For the Blind).
